Satchel's Story

mharvey23

This is Satchel. Satchel loves riding his bike, swimming on the swim team, camping, and so much more. His smile will brighten up a room!

Satchel was diagnosed with Epilepsy when he was 6 years old, after the long suffering persistence of his parents. They were told by numerous medical professionals, including neurologists, that they were worrying too much. After two separate EEG’s, they were able to determine that Satchel was having nighttime complex partial seizures in the form of sleepwalking, which looked like a variety of confused activities. His epilepsy developed from there and has often been unpredictable. Yet his smile persists!
