Join us for the 2021 Walk to End Epilepsy
Saturday, June 19, 9am-12pm
The 2021 nationwide Walk to End Epilepsy is a chance to come together as a community to actively support those we love who are living with epilepsy. On June 19th, we will gather at the Tennessee RiverPark and together walk a 5k to raise epilepsy awareness and support our friends and family with epilepsy all over the country.
1 in every 26 people in the US will develop epilepsy at some point in their lifetime, so it's important to raise awareness and promote epilepsy education here in southeast Tennessee.
Your contribution toward our efforts to bring awareness and to support those in our community is immeasurable. Every dollar counts toward impacting those we care about deeply. We work hard every day to reduce seizure related stigmas and create a world that is safer and more supportive for those with epilepsy. Thank you for joining us in our endeavors

The walk on the 19th was such a success! 221 people registered and helped us raise $13,900! If you would still like to continue fundraising so you can work your way up to bigger and better prizes, there's still time! Donations raised through the end of June will all count towards your award totals.
How much does it cost to register?
$0! Registration is free! However, there are prizes for participants who choose to raise donate and raise funds in support of the Epilepsy Foundation - SETN. See more on prizes here.
What will the event look like?
On the day of the event, registrants will arrive at the Tennessee RiverPark at 9am. From there, participants will be invited to walk a 5k along the scenic riverwalk. Booths will be set up at the park and there will plenty of opportunities to connect with the Epilepsy Foundation community and partners.

How can I raise funds?
When you register, you will be prompted to set up a fundraiser page through Kindful. Share your fundraising page with the folks at work, with your friends and family, and on your social media. The more funds you raise, the bigger the prizes!
How do I claim my prizes?
You have until 6/30 to fundraise. Once fundraising is concluded, you will be awarded your prize based on your personal fundraising totals and will be contacted with details on how to pick-up your prize.
Can I form a team?
You sure can! Teamwork makes dream-work. We encourage you to form a team and help each other set goals. However, note that prizes are based on how many funds you raise as an individual, not as a team. Here's an instructional video and an article to help.
