Steven Prestrelski, co-founder of Xeris Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has received a grant to develop an auto-injection device similar to an epipen.
This device will be a simple, pain-free way to inject Diazepam into multiple sites including shoulder, abdomen, and thigh. The subcutaneous injection should take two seconds or less to administer, making it emergency ready.
