The 2nd Annual Chocolate Fling & Silent Auction, presented by UCB, was a great success! You helped us to raise over $15,000 that will help us continue serving the people in our area with epilepsy! Thank you to all of you who came out and sampled delicious chocolates and bid on silent auction items! 

The event was held this year in the Bessie Smith Hall. Celebrity judges were Don Welch and Calvin Sneed with NewsChannel9, Eva Dillard with United Way, James Howard with Sunny 92.3 and Sonia Young, the Purple Lady.

Restaurants that participated were 212 Market Street, The Bread Basket, Café Lemont, Cakes by Maria, Chocolate Covered Fun, Doubletree Hotel, FoodWorks, The Hot Chocolatier, Market Street Tavern, Red Rock Grill, Southern Belle Riverboat, Southern Star, St. John’s, and Table 2 Grill and Lounge.

Judges’ Choice award went to Market Street Tavern for their Double Chocolate Cream Cupcake. People’s Choice award went Café Lemont with their Chocolate Raspberry Nut Truffle Cake. Most Creative Presentation went to The Hot Chocolatier for their creative chocolate sculpture. CONGRATULATIONS to all the winners!!
