Volunteer

Here are some current needs that YOU can help fill:

  • Drive a person to support group. Many people with epilepsy rely on others to help them with transportation and can not make it to support group without help.
  • Volunteer your house to be one location of November’s “Talk About it at Dinner” where you will tell your family and friends about how epilepsy has affected you and how they can help. This helps us raise much needed awareness and funds for our local Epilepsy Foundation.
  • Are you the parent of a child with epilepsy? Partner with our education director as she trains school nurses, teachers and students about the needs of children with epilepsy in our schools.
  • Do you know of a place where our educator can come speak about seizure recognition and first aid? Your child’s classroom? School? Office? Business? Let us know! Help us to make connections in our community to aid people who have seizures!
  • Help fold and stuff envelopes when the time comes to put out our quarterly newsletter!
  • Tell people about us!

If you can fill any of these needs, or if you have something different to contribute that we haven’t considered, please call (423) 634-1772 to let us know.
