Welcome and thank you for checking out our new website. We invite you to explore these pages to discover the many services we offer. The Epilepsy Foundation of Southeast Tennessee strives to ensure that people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences and will prevent, control and cure epilepsy through services, education, advocacy and research.
Our goal is to dispel the myths and stigma surrounding epilepsy by educating our families and community with the facts showing that people with epilepsy are just like everyone else. We have various exciting opportunities coming up, and we invite you to be a part of us, whether it’s by volunteering, attending our support groups, participating in our fundraisers or helping us to spread the word about epilepsy.
I’m very excited to serve as the board President for 2011. The staff and board of directors are working together for one common goal: to help others with epilepsy. Epilepsy is more common than most people think and together we can make a difference in the greater Chattanooga area.
