Did you know that 1 in 100 has active epilepsy?

That means at any moment, in your workplace someone could have a seizure. If you work with the public, the likelihood of someone having a seizure in your workplace is high just by the mere number of people who come in and out every day.

Do you and your employees know what to do if someone has a seizure?

Sure, you’ll call 9-1-1 if you don’t know the person. But, will you panic? Will you know the proper first aid? What if someone is walking around your business looking as if they are intoxicated or on drugs – will you think to look for a medical ID? It could be a seizure!

We cover all of these issues and more in our free seizure recognition and first aid training for the community! Whether you are a grocery store manager, a bank president, an administrator of a daycare or real estate agent, we can tailor our program to meet your needs and help to make you feel more comfortable and in control if someone you were to run across were to have a seizure.

Think about the difference you could make if a person with epilepsy were to have a seizure where you work – if you respond appropriately, they won’t be scared to come back! Show them that you care for them and prepare today for what might happen tomorrow.
